How much garbage can I put out each week?

» 1 garbage can per week, and 4 bags of green waste on green waste pick up days

» 7:30am

When do I have to pay for pick up?

» You will prepay every 6 months, at the end of March and September

How should I pay for my garbage?

» E-transfers are preferred, but cash and cheque are also accepted

What happens if I need to cancel services?

» Contact me and I will refund you depending on how many weeks are left in the current term

Should I notify you if we are going away and won't have garbage?

» Yes, please contact me before Tuesday

What happens if it snows?

» Depending on the conditions I may have to cancel pick up

» I will send out an email early in the morning if there is a snowfall

What happens on holidays?

» I pick up garbage on all holidays except Christmas and New Years Day

» If either of those days fall on a Tuesday I will reschedule for a different day that same week

What shouldn't go in the garbage?

» See this list for items that can be picked up by curbside recycling

» I will take most items that recycling does not pick up curbside. Please keep them separate from your garbage

What do I do with Styrofoam?

» Keep it in a separate bag from your garbage

* please rinse it if it contained food

What should I do with my food waste?

» You can keep it separate from your garbage and yard waste in a biodegradable bag

» Composting is for any green waste such as vegetable and fruit peels

Do you pick up green waste (grass clippings, leaves, etc).?

» Yes, green waste will be picked up bi-weekly, alongside your garbage

What items can be recycled at the depot?

What do I do with refundable beverage containers?

» You can recycle them in your blue bin, but I also collect them and donate all proceeds to local charities

» If you would like me to pick them up, place them in a bag by the front of your house on Tuesdays
